What a joy to encourage connections—with each other, our beautiful world, and the Lord. These relationships inspire and define Welcome and Wonder. My greeting cards and art prints offer gentle, creative ways to strengthen bonds, and new products—tea towels, totes, and zipper pouches—will soon share that same spirit in your home or with loved ones. I live in Vancouver, Canada, where the majestic temperate rainforest inspires me daily. For over 40 years, I’ve been both a physician and a calligrapher—yes, a doctor with legible (even beautiful) handwriting! My art includes watercolor, sketching, pastels, and digital work, and learning Photoshop has helped me design and produce my own cards.

My husband Rob and I recently said goodbye to Cara, our beloved 14-year-old Labrador who joined us in hospice visits and patient care. We’re now training Caiti, born December 2023, to follow in her footsteps. Our Christian faith grounds our lives, and our door is always open—with the kettle on for a proper cup of tea. We’re blessed with two grown children, their wonderful spouses, and five lively grandchildren under ten who keep us creative and joyful.
